Roffey Cricket Club are incredibly grateful for the continued and increased support from Marlow Sports Group as our sponsor for women’s cricket! Marlow Sports Group have signed up to a three year programme to support the development of women’s cricket at Roffey, with the aim to increase participation and create the club’s first women’s “hardball” team.
As a major encouragement, Marlow Sports Group are funding the payment of membership fees for existing and new girl members and cutting the cost of women’s membership fees by 50% to just £30 for the season!
Horsham based Marlow Sports Group, run by our own Gary Marlow, is at the forefront of exciting, inclusive and often pioneering programmes, leading them to want to be the first to support women and girls in playing cricket at Roffey. Marlow Sports Group have considerable and successful experience providing high-quality training, consultancy and physical education in conjunction with schools, clubs, sports organisations and governing bodies. Marlow Sports promotes outdoor activities where children and adults can learn, thrive and enjoy sport both physically and socially.

Our women’s team currently play in the Sussex softball league and train weekly every Friday evening at Roffey Cricket Club. The team are also hoping to play a number of hardball friendlies in 2024 as they continue to develop and provide opportunities for all!
